A note from Trix over a cup of coffee!

Trix Coffee Notes | No 1

My name is Trix Joyce online and my real name is Tricia Johansson. I’m a content creator, educator, independent scholar and multi-creative artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

You might know me from a variety of sites; maybe you know me for my YouTube channel, my music, my comics or my academic papers. Or something else online since I always have a lot going on… As I have had multiple publications and newsletters, I eventually stood there - very unsure in what direction I was going. I had done a lot but at the same time nothing, since my audience was kinda fragmented due to me being a multi-creative and multi-passionate person!

In an attempt to tie my passons together (and in that, also my audience) I’ve migrated all lists from all my different sources where you have been signing up, and joined them together in this publication and newsletter, so if you see this in your inbox, that’s why. If you’re unhappy with that, you can always unsubscribe in the footer or log in to herunfoldedmusings.com to manage your settings!

Furthermore, this newsletter you’re now reading from the publication Her Unfolded Musings will now replace:

  • ReverbNation FanReach
  • Buttondown.com/trixjoyce (and other newsletter services I’ve previously used)
  • Gumroad/Payhip/Beacons shop pages
  • Probably other sources I have forgotten about…

…And maaaybe Substack too, but I will post on Substack for the most part as well. At least for now!

For those of you who see this directly in the publication and haven’t yet subscribed, definitely feel free to do so! Because it’s literally free. I’ll wait… Done? Great!

When this newsletter goes out, I’ve already imported all the posts from my previous publications on places such as Medium, Wordpress blogs, Substack, and while some of them are still places I’m writing on (mainly Medium and Substack), this is like my catch-all hub.

With all of that information out of the way, I want to say a few other things.

1. For those who follow my music: did you know I’ve released yet another dark academia fantasy song?

Covert art for single "A Place To Call Home". A picture of a castle and fantasy nature scenery.

“A Place To Call Home” was released on April, 30, 2026 and is an instrumental fantasy piece. There are two versions available:

Standard single available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify.

Rainy ambience version available on YouTube.

Right now I’m also working on composing two other very long fantasy tracks. Stay subscribed to hear them before everybody else!

2. For those who follow my other creativity: my poetry collection is now out!

After a lot of struggle, which you can read about here, my new poetry collection “Her Inner Universe” is now out! For more notifications and sneak peeks of my work, make sure to stay subscribed to this newsletter.

3. For those who mainly care about my academic stuff: I now have an official blog on Humanity Commons…

… And work on no less than 5 (!) new philosophy papers! If you want to visit my Philosphy blog you can reach it here:

4. And… what about you who follow my content creator journey?

I’ve taken a step back from YouTube, although not at all left it behind! I just post when I genuinely have something to say now, without thinking about a schedule. So make sure to stay subscribed to my YouTube channel, so you don’t miss something!

My three most recent YouTube videos:

Still not sure about what I'm talking about?

And for those who feel they still don't understand who I am and what my vibe is, here are a collection of articles that you can start out with to get to know me more!

How do I earn money on writing when this newsletter and publication is free?

I only earn by donations from readers, so if you like anything of what I do, please feel free to donate to my work! Read more on the About-section of the publication!
